BACK TO COVENTRY FOR ME
Read City captain Louis Carey's exclusive website blog, only on bcfc.co.uk.
Three games gone and we're still unbeaten, but our 100 per cent record is over.
I thought in the first half against Derby last Saturday we deserved to be more than one goal ahead. In my opinion it was the best we've played so far this season.
In the Championship, when you don't kill teams off, there's a chance they will come back at you.
They had spells of pressure in the second half and the goal we conceded was sloppy. But Wealie didn't really have many saves to make and I think we deserved more.
We also lost Jamie McCombe to a broken cheekbone in the game. Nobody really saw it happen at the time and I spoke to Jamie about that on the night.
Since then he's sent me a picture of his face and it isn't a pretty picture. We've had a couple of bad injuries already this season and hope it's not a case of things to come.
Jamie's big enough and strong enough to come back from it and in the meantime we've got Fonts fit again and big Andy Webster on board from Rangers.
Hopefully I'll be involved against my old club Coventry on Saturday - and I also hope we'll get another great result at the Ricoh Arena like we have in recent times.
I played every week at Coventry and the standard of football was good, the place was lovely and everybody at the club were nice to me.
However, for whatever reason it didn't work out, but I haven't really got any ties there and I'm just concerned about taking all three points on Saturday.
Enjoy the weekend!
