ITV West and BBC Points West are both screening special extended shows ahead of City's play-off final appearance against Hull City at Wembley.

It all starts tonight when ITV West broadcasts an hour-long Soccer Night show - on screens at 10.35pm.

Former City legends Alan Dicks and Tom Ritchie are among the special guests on the final Soccer Night of the season.

The show is devoted entirely to previewing the Championship play-off final and will include a special message from Gary Johnson plus features with Adriano Basso, Bradley Orr and Alan Walsh.

For older City fans there will be plenty of nostalgia too with archive footage from City's promotion in 1976 and from the Freight Rover Trophy Final in 1986.

Presenter Jed Pitman will also be joined by Leroy Rosenior, former HTV presenter Roger Malone and an audience of City supporters as they look forward to their day out at Wembley.

Then on Friday evening BBC Points West will be broadcasting an hour-long news programme live with presenters at Wembley and Ashton Gate.

The show is on air from 6.30pm.
